Word For 2005

Here's a Word for 2005 by Doug Addison of InLight Connection in Los Angeles. His prophetic word captures in brief what other prophetic men and women are receiving everywhere. All are in agreement, and that includes me, that 2005 is a year of enormous fulfillment of God's purposes. Here's Doug's prophesy:

"This is a Year of Purpose in which many people will begin to find their destiny in God. Those who have been working hard and have seen little progress will see a steady increase in effectiveness. The very reason that many people gave their lives for the cause of Jesus will be renewed as new life and energy will come to those who have nearly given up. The onslaught of depression will lose its grip, while clarity of mind and purpose returns. Many Church leaders will step down from their positions and go into business, while business people will launch into ministry. It will be the start of a divine realignment of God's Kingdom on earth. End Time Marriages will steadily increase. In the midst of turmoil and tragedy, God will release a new peace and stability to those who are looking to Him. With the shift in weather patterns and the increase in terrorism and natural disasters, it will be increasingly important to rely fully on God's love and grace. Though there will be an appearance at times of things being out of control, God is calling His people to be free from fear. The West will shake signifying the release of a new wave of revival. God's glory will be displayed in places where it is least expected. Staying with it — that's what is required. Stay with it to the end. You wont be sorry; you'll be saved. Luke 21:19."

When we hear a Word such as this we become immediately responsible to see it live in reality. We don't just sit back and wait for the blessings to pile down upon us. We bring them to pass by dynamic prayer and lifestyle purpose. By dynamic prayer, I mean we lift ourselves up from the old blahblah way of praying: "Lord just bless us all, and bless our leaders and bless the world, amen," and we step into the powerful presence of the Almighty and we STAND FOR WHAT IS OUR BIRTHRIGHT.

"--God is calling His people to be free from fear." Wow. What do we do with these words? The Lord is showing us we must enter spiritual warfare. By warfare, He means we humble ourselves and pray with earnest, time-embracing power:

"In Jesus' name, I proclaim myself free from fear! I cast from me the curse of fear! I break the chains of fear that have held me bound now! I decree over myself now a spirit of calm confidence, which is my rightful inheritance as a child of the living God."

God is telling you to keep on praying throughout the days and weeks ahead until you experience breakthrough. Sometimes you may think a one-time prayer is enough to ring the bells of deliverance, and often this is true. But you are not to depend upon formulaic responses. The Lord is showing you how to trust Him, how to grow up in Him, how to move to a higher level and take your birthright. You will always wage war against fear, He is saying. Know the difference between wisdom and fear. You are to walk in wisdom.

God is telling you right now how passionately He wants to bless you. I sense someone reading this is questioning the goodness of God and His love. He wants to shower you with good things. He wants to remove the worms of interference, accidents and setbacks that devour your energy and your joy. This is your year! Claim it!

God is telling you, "I am the Lord who lifts you above the snares of doubt and fear. I am the Lord who prospers you and hears the call of your heart. I am not hard of hearing and I am not slow to answer. Now is the time for you to stretch your faith. Now is the time for you to reach out for more of your inheritance in Me."

Take this Word to heart and stand for your inheritance in the Lord. Feel the thumbprint of God on your beautiful forehead. The Lord is telling you to get out there and experience your destiny. Take the word about marriage and proclaim that blessing in your life.
